Ladies are asking questions about men. They’re struggling to find true love, so they want to know what’s happening. What’s wrong with the men? They’re asking questions…but are they listening to the answers?
Let’s start with this New York Post article. Time after time, what we see are headlines, posts, and videos highlighting just the dumbest of the dumb, the loudest minority, or the stupid sexy people whose opinions make no sense at all.
Before I went to Vegas, I did a whole bunch of research that kind of robbed me of the magic of being surprised by what I experienced. But no matter how many pictures I saw, nothing could prepare me for the sensation of standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon.
Let me start by saying I’m a firm believer in the notion of, “the only one you can control is yourself.”
That being said, I’m aware that it is possible to get people to feel/think/do what you want them to by game, influence, and manipulation. It is possible to convince others to love you, prioritize you, or to like you. If I wanted to, I could do all of this. And yet, I refuse.
If you were to ask me why, I don’t ever think I could respect people like that. It’s like those clips where a guy walks up to a woman, tries to talk to her, she blows him off like he’s no big deal until she sees that he’s driving a Maserati. Then, all the sudden, she hurries over to get his attention. Now, all the sudden she’s interested.
For who don’t know, LSU superstar Angel Reese became the subject of controversy after her post-loss conference where she complained and portrayed herself as a victim.
FoxSports commentator Emmanuel Acho criticized her for making herself the villain. And that’s when all hell broke loose. A lot of Black Women went to Tiktok to put Acho in his place. And in his place, Acho went. He acquiesced and bowed to the woke outrage.
There’s a lot to unpack here. The main thing I’m going to focus on, however, is that it’s difficult to be treated and respected as an equal…while at the same time people think you need to be handled like a child.
For those who don’t know, Candace Owens was released from the Daily Wire and the prevailing theory as to why, is because Candace expressed that “Christ is King” and some people think that’s antisemitic.
First off, I want to make it clear that you’re reading the words of a committed Christian. I really do view Jesus as my Lord and Savior and, like a modern-day knight of honor, I strive to obey the words of him and his Apostles to the best of my ability.
Secondly…I have a great deal of respect for Jewish people. The Bible was written by Jews. Some of my heroes like David, Jeremiah, Hannah, and Elijah were all Jewish or Hebrew. Jesus Christ was Jewish from the line of David. When Oct 7th went down, I wrote a passionate essay calling out those who were harassing and persecuting Jewish people in America.
I’m pointing this out because, cutting to the chase…claiming that someone is antisemitic simply because they declare “Christ is King” is a trumped-up charge that’s one-step away from trying to get the person canceled.
Critical Drinker’s video about Disney’s “the Acolyte” was really impressive in so many ways. I don’t know if he’s Christian or not, but this guy definitely understands what’s happening.
In the video, Critical Drinker, a well-respected writer and film critic with over a million subscribers, questions Hollywood’s direction with their recent slew of movies. He asks:
“Why are they trying to dupe people into thinking that nothing is intrinsically good or bad, that morality and objective reality don’t actually exist, and everything comes down to what you personally feel? It’s almost like once you stop people from believing in anything, then they’ll eventually come to accept everything.”
Recently, Pearl Davis of Red Pill fame published a video called, “Can God Save Modern Women?”
As she began her case, I was surprised to hear about her Christian background. Apparently, she went to a Catholic school and has an extensive Christian upbringing. And yet, she has a lot a criticism when it comes to whether Modern Women are any better in the church.
Recently, the boxer known as Gervonta “Tank” Davis converted to Islam and took on the name of Abdul Wahid. Some people claimed he was doing it for clout. But I dunno. Even as a Christian, I’d be lying if I didn’t say there are some enticing reasons to convert to Islam.
Points Discussed
Christians Give Christians a Bad Name
They Defend their Faith
Muslim Women Respect the Men
They Embrace the Patriarchy
Men Need Purpose
Brotherhood
Test of Faith
First off, I want to make it clear that the purpose of this essay isn’t to talk bad or disrespect Muslims or Islam. The crux of this post, as is with most of my essays…is to call upon other Christians to repent.
Now right there, you might be scratching your head a bit. If we call ourselves Christians, why do we need to repent? I thought that being a Christian means that we have already repented. So, what gives?
Recently, the “He Gets Us” producers aired a Jesus Christ commercial during the Super Bowl where we have a montage of different people washing the feet of others. At the end, the slogan is, “Jesus Didn’t Teach Hate.”
Sounds like a positive message, doesn’t it. What’s wrong with that? I’ve even talked to some Christians who were happy with the Ad, saying, “I’m just glad they’re talking about Jesus during the Super Bowl. It’s a good start.”
