Recently, the world watched as a group of drag performers openly mocked and insulted the Christian faith and Christ’s last supper. Outrage ensued. I wonder what the prophet Jeremiah would have to say about all this?
Are they trying to turn Christians into the very thing they already accuse them of being? For years, the mainstream has slandered Bible-practicing Christians as a bunch of intolerant bigots who are looking to oppress non-believers and the LGBTQ community.
And of course, the main reason why the Mainstream can so openly attack Christianity is because many of us are far from what they’re accusing us of. Seriously, do you think there would be a “Pride Month” in America if we were all oppressing them?
Critical Drinker’s video about Disney’s “the Acolyte” was really impressive in so many ways. I don’t know if he’s Christian or not, but this guy definitely understands what’s happening.
In the video, Critical Drinker, a well-respected writer and film critic with over a million subscribers, questions Hollywood’s direction with their recent slew of movies. He asks:
“Why are they trying to dupe people into thinking that nothing is intrinsically good or bad, that morality and objective reality don’t actually exist, and everything comes down to what you personally feel? It’s almost like once you stop people from believing in anything, then they’ll eventually come to accept everything.”
Recently, the “He Gets Us” producers aired a Jesus Christ commercial during the Super Bowl where we have a montage of different people washing the feet of others. At the end, the slogan is, “Jesus Didn’t Teach Hate.”
Sounds like a positive message, doesn’t it. What’s wrong with that? I’ve even talked to some Christians who were happy with the Ad, saying, “I’m just glad they’re talking about Jesus during the Super Bowl. It’s a good start.”
In 2024…we need to let go of this fear of being called “Judgmental.” It’s making Christians look bad. It’s giving Atheists and Agnostics good reasons to reject Christ. And it’s enabling those who think they’re Christians to let go of their fear of disobeying God.
This will be the first of four posts where I reveal the “Real Reasons Why Christians Hate Being Judged.” For this post…we’re going to talk about how my generation’s indoctrination with the belief that we’re all equals and the same…it’s created an ego and a sense of entitlement.

Yesterday (Tuesday Oct 10, 2023), a 60-year-old co-worker I’ve known for years…she’s someone I enjoy teasing and is almost like a mother figure to me. She said, “Rock, you’re so contradicting. You’re supposed to be this Christian, but it seems like you really don’t like people.”
She said this upon hearing how I am in my boxing class. I pick the heavy bag that’s away from everyone else with my back turned to others so it’s easier for me to focus and not worry about what everyone else is doing. She also knows that I don’t like crowds or social events where all you do is just socialize.
I explained, “I love and care about people as Christ tells us, but…it’s not that I hate people. It’s just disappointing. It’d be like if my brother was a thief who robs and steals. I still love my brother, but I’d be disappointed with him. It’d probably bother me if I hung out with him and all he did was brag about his things…things I know he bought with stolen money.”
This is inspired by a comment that was left on one of my videos and it really touched my heart. Because I think it speaks to why I’ve seen how some Women claim to want a traditional man who’s virtuous and spiritual…but not religious.
I can’t help but think what they really mean is, “I want a man who has Christian values and believes in God but will ultimately choose to put my wants and desires over what the Bible says.”
She commented in my video about the Christian Red Pill. It starts out as just a fun journey where I talk about how I discovered the Red Pill spaces back in 2016, but I conclude it with a lot of strong messages about how the Bible is my ultimate compass and how I call upon Men and Women to repent before it’s too late.

And this is one reason I don’t like church. Church and male interpretation of Christianity has always been redpill. I sat in church for 25 years and heard same crap. That is why I left I got tired of hearing how insignificant I was as woman and how only important men are.
Recently, the R&B singer Ne-Yo gave an interview where he criticized parents for letting their children determine what gender they are. He asked, “When did parents stop parenting? If you let a kid decide whether he wants to eat sugar all day, he’s going to eat sugar.”
There was some controversy on top of the controversy, because it looked like Ne-Yo put out an apology to the LGBT community…but then Ne-Yo put out a video clarifying his stance on the matter.

Here…I had some thoughts on the matter, pretty much calling out the elephant in the room. I think that sometimes, a lot of us don’t say anything because we feel like we don’t have a place to say anything. I don’t have children. So, what do I know? Right? Not to mention, the fact that so many companies are pushing the Diversity, Inclusion and Equity Ideology where it can be risky to speak the Truth.
As a Christian…one of the things I like to think I’m good at, is having the ability to converse with other Christians, disagreeing with them, and yet I’m still able to keep it civil and not insult them. We’re likely to walk away more enlightened with a greater understanding of one another.
This week, I confess I got a little bit heated with this new Church group that I joined this year. It was on the issue of Baptisms and whether or not being Baptized is a requirement for being saved. Meaning, if you’re not Baptized, does this mean you aren’t “saved”?
This isn’t the first time I disagreed with them on something and it’s not something that would prompt me to say, “I can’t hang with y’all.” We just have different interpretations of the Scriptures.
Here’s some questions for you. Does God forgive Satan? Does Jesus Christ love Satan, just as he commanded us to love our enemies? These questions came to mind after a live debate I had with a woman at my gym.
The above were my immediate thoughts following a debate I had with an elderly woman (late 60s) at my gym. It wasn’t planned, but we struck it up and sat in the lobby to hash it out. I didn’t know much about her past prior to this conversation other than she claimed to be Christian. But she’s cool, a gym regular and past a certain age, so I’ve been able to have random chats with her without worrying about “making her feel uncomfortable”.
It began with her inquiring about my being a bachelor (a common topic of fascination). I gave her some details and she said, “Rock. Instead of looking for a wife, maybe you should look for a friend first? Just someone to get along with.”
I smiled and explained, “Yes ma’am. That’s the plan. When I say I’m looking for a wife, that’s just the end goal. It’s really my way of saying that I’m not part of today’s hook-up culture. A lot of my peers do want to get married, but first, they want to get laid. Whereas with me, marriage comes before sex.”
I’m almost done with my third reading of 1 Samuel and I had to get my thoughts down about King Saul, the first King of Israel.
There’s so many lessons here that we can apply to our own lives, in today’s modern world. Mainly, the importance of patience and obeying God’s commandments even in the face of overwhelming pressure and anxiety.
