Stage In The Sky

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give some updates of my recent release of “The Perennial War of Paramours” available at Amazon, Barnes and Nobles, and various other sites.

I’m currently entering the book into a several competitions to see if they win any awards. Though, I have to be careful because there are a bunch of contests and the entry fees can rack up quickly.

And to be honest, I never planned on sending it off for awards, but the reviews I’m getting…it’s really incredible. People are blown away and shocked. Just check out a few for yourselves. I wouldn’t make these up, I’m not like that.

The above review was an awesome surprise from my Father. Rebecca is my father’s co-worker. I never met her before, but she called from my dad’s phone. I picked up and was just floored by what she said.

I honestly couldn’t believe it. I know this sounds crazy, but I didn’t have a high opinion of myself when it comes to my prose as a writer. My confidence was always with the sheer magnitude of how powerful the stories are. I thank God for how far I’ve come because when I read some of my older novels (like the Three Kings of Ybor)…lol, Awesome story! Awesome characters! But, could’ve had a better flow.

And to honor my father, I told him I’d record a reading of the first chapter. Anyone who knows my dad knows he’s the kind of guy who’ll fall asleep even in the middle of an NBA championship game. Expecting him to read my books was a bit of stretch, But he’s shown his support and demonstrated how proud he IS of me, so I told him I’d record a video so he can play this during one of his long drives.
